At Brambleberry, we raise Multi-Generational Mini Aussie Mountain Doodles—a thoughtfully developed blend of the Australian Shepherd, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Poodle.
And while their name may be a mouthful, we think their personalities are worth getting to know.
The Aussie Mountain Doodle brings together many of the qualities we love most: the intelligence and adventurous spirit of the Australian Shepherd, the gentle and affectionate nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog, and the versatility of the Poodle.
The result is a beautiful, fun-loving companion who is happy to join you on an adventure but equally content curled up beside you at the end of the day.
The Best of Both Worlds
We love the versatility of the Aussie Mountain Doodle. They tend to be friendly, loyal, and wonderfully people-oriented, making them natural companions for many different seasons and styles of life. They are playful and social, enjoy time outdoors, and appreciate regular walks and activity—but they also love being home with their people.
In other words, they’re just as happy tagging along for an adventure as they are taking a nap nearby.
Their coats may be straight, wavy, or curly, depending on their individual genetics and parentage. Many have low-shedding coats, and our Multi-Generational lines may be a good fit for families with mild pet allergies.
Of course, every dog is wonderfully unique, and no two Brambleberry doodles are exactly alike.

Each dog we consider for our program is carefully evaluated with health, genetics, temperament, and overall quality in mind. We thoughtfully select parent dogs who complement one another, always keeping our long-term vision for our lines at the heart of every pairing.
We also love the beautiful, vibrant colors and markings that reflect the heritage of the Australian Shepherd and Bernese Mountain Dog.
